Pieces of April ---- A great movie about a girl who decides to make thanksgiving dinner for her estranged family. Night of the Hunter is a '50s black and white film that has been heavily influential. It portrays a corrupt preacher and two kids who stand in the way of him pulling off the heist of a former cell mates' stolen fortune. Enjoyable on many levels.

Character won an Oscar in '97 for best foreign language film. I can see why.

i enjoyed about a boy the most- because the 'boy' in the movie, marcus, is completely believeable and makes you proud to be cringingly embarassed by him.

i had missed seeing star wars episode 1 and 2 when they were in the theatre/released on dvd. so i finally caught up, but found myself somewhat disappointed. not by the amazing cinematography or animation, but by the surprising predictability. but, it was still worth the rent.
